I love receiving surprise gifts. Who doesn’t right? Alas I don’t receive good surprises often enough so when this box came thru my door from Kleenex, I was a happy lady and couldn’t wait to open and see what it contains.
And it smell good! Yes, you read right. It gave out a good scent! :p
Came with a lovely bow tied to it
What a pleasant find. The first I noticed is that I receive a stem of rose made from tissue. As a craft lover, this is really interesting but I need to find where that lovely scent is coming from….
Aahh… this is the new range from Kleenex where tissues are scented. The two scents that is available now is Cherry Blossom and Rose Essential Oil. As this is not my first time encountering scented tissues, I am glad that it is available now in Malaysia.
I remember lugging my packets of scented tissues from Hong Kong back home when I was on holiday. Yeah I bought tissues… who would have guessed that! Tissues instead of other souveniers LOL!!!
So back to this Kleenex new range of scented tissues. There’s research that supports the link between fragrance and well-being, as the sense of smell is one of the most direct ways people interact with their surroundings. Do you agree?
I agree for each time I stepped into a spa or a surrounding that has pleasant fragrance, I find that my mood and spirit is lifted up immediately. Even at home I on my diffuser to uplift everyone’s mood. Fragrance I find also gives a calming mood.
Floral scents in particular cultivate a happier, more optimistic outlook and this can have a positive effect on how people interact with others. With Kleenex now introducing infused rose essential oils or cherry blossom fragrance into its first Kleenex 3-Ply Scented Facial Tissues, one can be sure that you will feel delighted and uplifted using it.

What do you think you can do with scented tissues to uplift someone’s mood :
- Use it when you’re all tired. I’m sure it will give you an instant perk me up.
- Use it to cover your nose and inhale as you walk thru areas that you know has unpleasant smell or someone happened to let out a “whoosh” in the cinema seat next to you (wokay! too detailed but you get my drift…) How I wish I have this during the haze period. I would have use it to cover my nose when I walked to the car park.
- DIY something out of it!
I created carnations out of it. Since the tissues are all white, I dab a bit of colour to it so that it stands out. What do you think of my outcome?
I must say that I enjoyed how soft and lovely the fragrance is. It calmed me down when I wanted to separate the petals (plys) faster. It is good that it came scented as crafting this became a calm affair!
