Knock! Knock! Who’s there?  - – - – It’s ME!

Yea I’m back again.  Work commitment really draining me out this year and it’s already mid of the year! Oohh my….  Anyway, I’m not here to talk about my work (a boring topic! :p).  I’m here to share with you about the new Horlicks Chocolate!

The compact 1kg pack

Having two growing up BOYS, preparing nutritious meals for them is a constant uphill battle for me.  Especially so for my elder boy Cavan.  He, unlike his younger brother who still consumes milk, I sometimes find it hard to “innovate” or entice nutritious food for him.

He was a chubby baby until he outgrew all his baby fat and developed into a kid and start going to school, he became thin.  Runs in the genes I tell you for his dad is also very skinny until his 30s where you see “development” starts! hehehe….  So yea rice is not his staple to add on and it’s really tough ensuring he has all the nutrients he need.  Hidden hunger the term used is not hunger that comes from lack of food but a chronic lack of vitamins and minerals that has no visible warning signs.  Not taken care properly it will lead to poor mental development, poor physical health and productivity.

Thus when I found out that Horlicks came out with a new and improved formulation of its classic malt beverage by enriching its existing formula with a blend of micronutrients to help optimise holistic development in children, I’m a happy mama! :P  The best part I like is, it comes with 23 vital nutrients including calcium, protein and multivitamins to support their need for growth and development!

Horlicks is a household name in my family and I’m no stranger to it.  Have been drinking Horlicks since I was young :D  Am glad to see that Horlicks now comes in chocolate flavour, a perfect flavour to entice if not Cavan, my younger boy Caden for that boy is a chocolate lover!

Got ourselves a pack of Horlicks Chocolate and tried it out.

Always love making hot drinks at home

Instead of just mixing the Horlicks Chocolate with hot water, made it a bit more interesting by making a Horlicks “tarik” without the mess on the floor

And taa-daa, a lovely foamy cup of Horlicks “tarik”

It’s hot, so gulp down slowly and verdict…….

GOOD!!  Even love the moustache on his lips lol

So yea now before sending him off to school, Cavan will have a cup of Horlicks Chocolate.  I’m assured he get his nutrients and at night if he’s hungry and it’s too late to have anything solid, another cup of Horlicks Chocolate :D

Afterall both mum and kids alike would want to Tall, Sharp and Strong!
